About
Stephanie founded Skin Therapy as a continuation of her late mother, Aris Oteyza’s Avenues Medical Spa. She is known for giving thorough facial treatments while educating her clients on how to address their skin concerns with personalized home care. Skin Therapy continues to be a culmination of her entrepreneurial spirit, passion for empowering and helping others, and obsession with skincare.
Stephanie received her BA in Media Production in London, England at the American Intercontinental University. She has over 10 years working as a creative professional across industries within media and art in New York City.
In 2015, after the passing of her mother, Stephanie returned to Jax, FL, to direct her focus and attention toward health and wellness. A decade later, she faced her battle with cervical cancer and emerged as a survivor with an even deeper commitment to helping others care for themselves. However, Stephanie's skin journey did not begin there.

Her skin journey...
Her skin journey began as a young teen enamored with the latest trends in beauty and fashion. As an adolescent, Stephanie's curiosity led her to enquire about facials in the department store Maison Blanche in the Avenues Mall. Then, as an undergrad in the UK, struggling with acne scarring, Stephanie sought professional advice from a Dermologica-certified esthetician. Under her guidance, Stephanie followed a bi-weekly acne program and grew to understand the importance of a personalized regimented home-care routine.
Her interest in skincare grew once she experienced her own skin transformation. Since then she has tested an array of skincare trends deepening her commitment to personalized care as every individual's skin is unique and requires a tailored approach.
In 2019, Stephanie completed her esthetics training at the Alpha School of Massage while working at First Coast Dermatology, assisting in skin examinations and MOH surgeries. In 2021, Stephanie solely launched the aesthetics department at iMED Spa in St. Johns, Florida, which has led her to receive her certification in phlebotomy facilitating platelet-rich plasma treatments.
Stephanie is an acne and sensitive skin specialist. She has also sought further education in cosmetic ingredients and is actively pursuing her nutrition coach certification through Precision Nutrition.
She advocates for a healthy and sustainable lifestyle and takes a holistic approach to healing and addressing clients’ skin concerns. Stephanie consistently furthers her education and strives to remain at the forefront of new skincare and wellness brands, technology, and modalities.
Skin Philosophy
I specialize in treating acne, aging, and hyperpigmentation. My holistic approach incorporates clinical services and professional-grade products. Treatments are customized after an in-depth consultation and an initial study of your skin with the New Client Consultation.
This is designed to identify the root cause of your concern. I will review your current products, diet, and lifestyle and how they affect your skin's health. During this visit, I will examine the skin to ensure its natural moisture barrier is intact and healthy enough to undergo professional treatments such as chemical peels, different forms of dermabrasion, or introducing any active ingredients into your daily home care.
My philosophy centers around a holistic understanding of your skin, recognizing its unique needs and addressing concerns such as acne, aging, and hyperpigmentation. I employ clinical expertise and professional-grade products to achieve optimal results.
